This TikTok Ramen is a quick, comforting bowl that comes together in minutes with pantry staples. It’s slightly sweet, perfectly salty, rich with butter, and full of umami thanks to soy sauce and garlic. The creamy scrambled egg stirred into the noodles makes it extra satisfying—perfect for a fast lunch, late-night snack, or cozy dinner for one.
1 package instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packet)
(Nong Shim, Samyang, or any Korean brand recommended)
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon Everything Bagel Seasoning (or to taste)
1 scallion, sliced (optional, for garnish)
Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain most of the water, leaving about 1–2 tablespoons in the pot to keep noodles glossy.
Make the sauce: In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the brown sugar and soy sauce. Cook until the sugar fully dissolves.
Add noodles to the pan and toss well to coat evenly in the sauce.
Push noodles to one side. Pour in the beaten egg and gently scramble until just set.
Mix egg into the noodles until combined.
Serve hot, topped with Everything Bagel Seasoning and sliced scallions if using.
Creamier texture: Leave a little extra noodle water (up to ¼ cup) before adding noodles to the sauce.
Spice it up: Add chili oil, sriracha, or gochujang for extra heat.
Protein boost: Top with a soft-boiled egg or add leftover chicken or tofu.
Lower sodium: Use low-sodium soy sauce and avoid adding extra salt.
No Everything Bagel seasoning? Substitute with sesame seeds and a pinch of garlic powder.
