(You can use a boxed mix or your favorite homemade recipe)
1 box brownie mix + ingredients required
or
½ cup (113 g) butter, melted
1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup (35 g) cocoa powder
½ cup (62 g) all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking powder
12–16 large marshmallows
2 cups white chocolate chips or white candy melts
1 tbsp coconut oil (optional for smoother melting)
Black edible gel or mini chocolate chips (for faces)
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
Line an 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
Prepare brownies according to boxed instructions or the homemade recipe:
Whisk melted butter + sugar
Add eggs + vanilla
Mix in dry ingredients just until combined
Pour into pan and bake 25–30 minutes until edges are set.
Cool completely, then cut into squares or rounds.
Place 1 large marshmallow on top of each brownie piece.
Melt white chocolate chips/candy melts in the microwave:
Heat in 20–30 second bursts, stirring until smooth
Add coconut oil if needed for thinner drizzling
Spoon melted chocolate over each marshmallow, letting it drip down like ghost “sheets.”
Let set 5–10 minutes.
Use edible black gel to draw eyes + mouth
or
Press in mini chocolate chips before chocolate fully sets
Want extra height? Stack two marshmallows!
Freeze brownies for 10 minutes before topping to keep chocolate from melting them.
Try pumpkin spice or peanut butter swirl brownies for a flavor twist.
Use a piping bag to make more detailed spooky expressions!
