Making juicy hamburgers in the air fryer is easier than you think—no thawing required! This quick and reliable method gives you flavorful, evenly cooked burgers that are perfect for a fast lunch or an effortless weeknight dinner.
4 frozen beef burger patties
Your favorite burger seasoning
4 burger buns, toasted
Optional Toppings
Cheese slices (1 or more per burger)
Sliced onions
Lettuce
Tomato slices
Pickles
Big Mac–style sauce or your favorite burger sauce
Line the drip pan or bottom of your air fryer with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Season the frozen burger patties generously on both sides.
Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
Place the frozen patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry for 6 minutes, then flip the burgers.
Cook for another 3–5 minutes, or until burgers reach your desired doneness and a safe internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
If using cheese, place a slice on each patty and air fry for 30 seconds to 1 minute, just until melted.
Transfer burgers to a plate, tent loosely with foil, and let them rest for 3 minutes.
Serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings and sauce.
No thawing needed: Cook burgers straight from frozen for best texture.
Don’t overcrowd: Leave space between patties so hot air can circulate.
Extra flavor: Add seasoning again after flipping for deeper taste.
Check doneness: Use a meat thermometer to ensure food safety.
Crispier outside: Cook an extra 1–2 minutes if you like a firmer crust.
