4 hot dog buns, sliced down the middle (optional)
Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Cook the Hot Dogs
Place the hot dogs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 4 minutes, flipping halfway through, until heated through and lightly browned.
Warm the Buns (Optional)
Place the hot dogs inside the buns and return them to the air fryer.
Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes at 400°F until the buns are warm and slightly toasted.
Serve
Remove carefully and enjoy immediately with your favorite toppings.
Skinny hot dogs cook quickly (about 4 minutes).
Thicker or jumbo hot dogs may need 6–8 minutes total.
For lighter browning, cook at 380°F for about 5 minutes.
Reheating leftovers: Air fry at 350°F for 2–3 minutes.
