Crispy Air Fryer Chicken & Mozzarella Wraps: The Ultimate Guide to a Quick, Crispy, and Comforting Meal

These Crispy Air Fryer Chicken & Mozzarella Wraps are everything you want in a quick meal—crispy tortillas, juicy seasoned chicken, and perfectly melted mozzarella. They’re easy to make, family-friendly, and ideal for lunch, dinner, or even meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large chicken breasts (about 1 lb total)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 4 whole wheat tortillas

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves

  • ¼ cup ranch dressing (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  • Season the chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips. In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken strips and toss until evenly coated.

  • Air fry the chicken
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes. Spray the basket lightly, then place the chicken in a single layer. Cook for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and fully cooked.

  • Assemble the wraps
Remove the chicken from the air fryer. Lay out the tortillas and add spinach, mozzarella cheese, and warm chicken strips to each one.

  • Wrap and crisp
Roll the tortillas tightly. Lightly spray the outside with olive oil spray and place them seam-side down in the air fryer basket.

  • Final air fry
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes, until the wraps are crispy and golden.

  • Serve
Let the wraps cool slightly, slice in half, and serve with ranch dressing if desired.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer—work in batches if needed for even crisping.

  • Extra flavor: Add cayenne pepper, Italian seasoning, or smoked paprika to the chicken.

  • Cheese swap: Try provolone, part-skim mozzarella, or a Mexican blend.

  • More veggies: Bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms make great additions.
