Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 4 medium flour tortillas

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken
If not already cooked, season chicken lightly with salt and pepper. Bake, sauté, or grill until fully cooked, then dice into bite-sized pieces.

  • Sauté the Garlic
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute, just until fragrant and lightly golden.

  • Combine Chicken and Cheese
Add diced chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic oil. Remove from heat and immediately stir in mozzarella and cheddar cheese while the chicken is still hot, allowing the cheese to begin melting.

  • Assemble the Wraps
Lay tortillas flat. Spoon a generous portion of the cheesy garlic chicken mixture into the center of each tortilla. Fold in the sides and roll tightly like a burrito.

  • Toast the Wraps
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden brown and crispy.

  • Serve
Remove from heat and let rest for 1–2 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use hot chicken: Warm chicken helps the cheese melt evenly before cooking.

  • Don’t overcook garlic: Burnt garlic can taste bitter—keep it lightly golden.

  • Cheese swaps: Try Monterey Jack, provolone, or a spicy pepper jack.

  • Extra crunch: Cook wraps on a cast-iron skillet for crispier edges.

  • Make it spicy: Add red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot sauce to the filling.
