These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are the ultimate comfort food—creamy, cheesy, and packed with tender chicken, then brushed with garlic butter and toasted until golden and crisp. They come together quickly and are perfect for an easy dinner, casual lunch, or satisfying snack the whole family will love.
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
4 large flour tortillas
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
Optional additions: baby spinach, shredded lettuce, or sliced tomatoes
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and parsley. Mix until creamy and well combined.
Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spoon about ¼ of the filling into the center of each tortilla. Add optional vegetables if using.
Fold in the sides and roll tightly from the bottom to form wraps.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic. Brush the outside of each wrap generously.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crisp and the cheese is fully melted inside.
Slice each wrap in half and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or garlic aioli.
Soften the cream cheese: This helps the filling mix smoothly and keeps it extra creamy.
Don’t overfill: Too much filling can make wraps hard to roll and prone to breaking.
Use medium heat: This allows the tortillas to crisp without burning while the cheese melts.
Make it spicy: Add red pepper flakes, hot sauce, or diced jalapeños to the filling.
