1 lb pizza dough or bread dough
Smooth, elastic, and room-temp for easy stretching
3 tbsp melted butter (or olive oil for lighter version)
2–3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
1–1½ cups shredded mozzarella
¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional)
1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional) — garnish
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
On a floured surface, roll or stretch the dough into a rectangle and transfer to your baking sheet.
Combine melted butter, garlic, salt, and pepper. Brush evenly over the dough. Sprinkle oregano/Italian seasoning.
Add mozzarella and Parmesan evenly across the dough.
Bake 10–15 minutes, until edges are golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Rest for 1–2 minutes. Slice into 1-inch breadsticks using a pizza cutter.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
Let the dough relax — if it springs back while shaping, rest 5 minutes and try again.
Extra crispy edges? Move the baking sheet to a lower rack for the last 2 minutes.
Make it spicy: Add crushed red pepper flakes before baking.
Dip game strong: Serve with warm marinara, ranch, or garlic butter.
