Cheeseburger Twists are a fun, crave-worthy mashup of two favorites: the classic juicy cheeseburger and crispy golden eggrolls. Seasoned ground beef, melty cheddar cheese, and savory burger flavors are wrapped up and fried until perfectly crunchy. They’re ideal for parties, game nights, or anytime you want a handheld comfort-food treat that disappears fast.
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 package egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying
Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and garlic, and sauté for 2–3 minutes until soft and fragrant.
Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for 1 more minute.
Remove from heat and transfer the beef mixture to a bowl. Let it cool slightly, then fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Lightly wet the edges with water. Spoon the filling into the center, fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly to seal.
Heat oil in a clean skillet over medium-high heat. Fry eggrolls in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and drain on a paper towel–lined plate. Serve warm.
Extra cheeseburger vibes: Add chopped pickles or a pinch of sesame seeds to the filling.
Cheese swap: Try American, Colby Jack, or pepper jack for a different flavor.
Air fryer option: Spray lightly with oil and air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, turning once.
Dipping sauces: Ketchup, burger sauce, or a simple mayo-mustard mix works great.
