Making brats in the air fryer is one of the easiest ways to get juicy, perfectly cooked sausages with almost no effort. In just 15 minutes, you’ll have brats that are nicely browned on the outside and tender on the inside—no grill, no splatter, and minimal cleanup. This method is perfect for quick weeknight dinners, game days, or whenever a brat craving hits.
5 uncooked brats (bratwurst)
Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C). Lightly spray the basket with oil if desired.
Place the brats in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
Cook for 7 minutes, then use tongs to flip the brats over.
Return to the air fryer and cook for another 7 minutes, or until the brats are cooked to your desired doneness.
Remove from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite sides and toppings.
Always cook brats in a single layer for even browning
Flip halfway through cooking for best results
Cooking times may vary depending on the size of the brats and your air fryer model
Brats are fully cooked when they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C)
