These Air Fryer Ranch-Crusted Chicken Bites are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with bold ranch flavor. They come together fast, use simple ingredients, and are much lighter than deep-fried versions. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or easy weeknight dinner—just add your favorite dipping sauce and you’re set.
1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup panko breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if needed)
2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 large eggs, beaten
Cooking spray
Preheat the air fryer
Preheat to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
Prepare the coating
In a bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, ranch seasoning, and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
Coat the chicken
Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly so it sticks.
Air fry
Arrange the chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
Serve
Serve hot with ranch, honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or your favorite dip.
Don’t overcrowd the basket: Cook in batches if needed for maximum crispiness.
Extra crunch: Spray lightly with oil before and after flipping.
Spicy version: Add cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mix.
Herb boost: Mix in dried thyme, oregano, or parsley for extra flavor.
No air fryer? Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
