These Air Fryer Salmon Patties are a quick, flavorful meal that’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Made with canned salmon and simple pantry ingredients, they’re perfect for busy weeknights, light lunches, or meal prep. The air fryer gives you that golden crust without deep frying.
14.75 oz canned salmon, drained
1 large egg
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon dried dill
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Lemon wedges and tartar sauce, for serving
Prepare the Basket
Lightly spray the air fryer basket or tray with olive oil nonstick cooking spray.
Mix the Patties
In a large bowl, add the salmon, egg, mayonnaise, panko breadcrumbs, lemon juice, dill, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parsley (if using). Mix until fully combined.
Shape
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and gently form into patties.
Air Fry
Place the patties on the air fryer tray and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
Cook at 390°F (199°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Note: Preheating is not required for this recipe.
Serve
Serve warm with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
If the mixture feels too wet, add 1–2 extra tablespoons of panko.
Chill the patties for 10 minutes before cooking if you want them extra firm.
Swap dill for Old Bay or paprika for a different flavor profile.
These patties are great in sandwiches, wraps, or on top of a salad.
