These Air Fryer Pork Belly Bites are irresistibly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Seasoned simply with garlic, brown sugar, salt, and pepper, they deliver big flavor with minimal effort. Using the air fryer means less oil, less mess, and perfectly golden pork belly every time—no deep frying required.
1½ pounds pork belly, patted dry and cut into 1-inch pieces
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Season the Pork Belly
In a large bowl, mix together the canola oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Coat the Pork
Add the pork belly pieces to the bowl and toss until every piece is evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
Arrange in Basket
Place the pork belly bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Tip: Cook in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
Air Fry
Cook for 18–20 minutes, shaking the basket and flipping the pieces a couple of times during cooking to ensure even crisping.
Serve
Remove from the air fryer once deeply golden and crispy. Serve warm and enjoy!
Dry the pork well before seasoning—this helps it crisp up better.
Even sizing matters: Cut pieces close to the same size for even cooking.
Extra crisp: Add 2–3 more minutes if you like ultra-crispy edges.
Flavor boost: Finish with a drizzle of honey, hot sauce, or a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
