These Air Fryer Meatballs are juicy, flavorful, and perfectly browned with minimal effort. Made with a blend of beef and pork, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasonings, they cook quickly in the air fryer while staying tender inside. They’re great for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or serving as an appetizer with your favorite sauce.
16 ounces lean ground beef
4 ounces ground pork
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
⅓ cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
Preheat air fryer:
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Mix ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix gently until just combined.
Form meatballs:
Shape the mixture into 16 equal meatballs (a small cookie or ice cream scoop works well).
Air fry:
Place half of the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8 minutes, shake the basket, then cook 2 more minutes until browned and cooked through.
Rest and repeat:
Transfer cooked meatballs to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining meatballs.
Serve:
Serve warm and enjoy as-is or with marinara, pasta, or a sub roll.
Don’t overmix: Mixing too much can make meatballs dense.
Even sizing: Uniform meatballs cook evenly and stay juicy.
Check doneness: Internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C).
Freezer-friendly: Freeze uncooked meatballs for easy future meals.
