2 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1½-inch by 1-inch pieces
2 tablespoons oil
1½ teaspoons ground black pepper
1½ teaspoons salt
1½ teaspoons soy sauce
Cut the sirloin steak into evenly sized bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, whisk together the oil, black pepper, salt, and soy sauce.
Add the steak bites to the bowl and toss until well coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Place steak bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
Air fry at 400°F for 7–12 minutes, shaking once halfway through:
7 minutes for rare to medium-rare
9–10 minutes for medium
12 minutes for medium-well
Serve hot as a main dish or appetizer.
Even size: Cutting steak evenly helps it cook at the same rate.
Don’t overcrowd: Cook in batches if needed to get a good sear.
Rest briefly: Let steak rest 2–3 minutes after cooking to keep it juicy.
Flavor boost: Add garlic powder, paprika, or butter after cooking for extra richness.
