650 g (22.9 oz) sirloin steak, trimmed and cubed
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon onion powder
Pinch of red chili flakes (optional)
Low-calorie cooking spray
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons salted butter, melted
1½ tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)
Season the steak:
Place the steak cubes in a bowl. Add paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and red chili flakes. Toss until evenly coated.
Lightly oil:
Spray the seasoned steak with low-calorie cooking spray and toss again for even coverage.
Preheat air fryer:
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 5 minutes.
Air fry:
Arrange steak bites in a single layer on the air fryer grill plate or basket. Cook for 6 minutes, turning halfway through.
Create the sauce:
Remove steak bites and carefully take out the grill plate, leaving the juices in the basket.
Add garlic butter:
Return steak bites to the basket. Add minced garlic, melted butter, and parsley. Toss to coat.
Final cook:
Air fry for 1–2 minutes more until fragrant and glossy.
Serve:
Garnish with extra parsley and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Serve hot.
Use even-sized cubes: This ensures quick and even cooking.
Don’t overcook: Steak bites cook fast—check early to keep them tender.
Customize doneness: Reduce time slightly for medium-rare, add 1–2 minutes for well done.
Great pairings: Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, rice, or a fresh salad.
