Air Fryer Frozen Burgers: The Ultimate Guide to Perfectly Juicy Burgers Every Time

Ever wondered if you can cook frozen burgers in the air fryer? The answer is yes! Air fryer frozen burger patties are quick, convenient, and turn out juicy with hardly any effort. No thawing, no oil, and no mess—just an easy dinner solution for busy days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 beef burger patties (frozen)

Optional for serving:
Burger buns, cheese slices, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and sauces of choice

Instructions

  1. There is no need to preheat the air fryer and no oil is required. Place the frozen burger patties directly into the air fryer basket in a single layer.

  2. Cook at 180°C / 360°F for 15 minutes, flipping once halfway through for even cooking.

  3. If adding cheese, place it on top of each patty 30 seconds to 1 minute before the end of cooking time, just until melted.

  4. For thinner patties, reduce the cooking time to 10 minutes at 180°C / 360°F.

  5. Burgers are done when the internal temperature reaches 160°F / 71°C.

  6. Carefully remove the burgers from the basket and assemble them on buns with your favorite toppings. Serve and enjoy!

Note: Burgers naturally shrink while cooking—this is normal.

Notes

  • Even cooking: Flip the patties halfway through cooking.

  • Don’t overcrowd: Leave space between burgers so hot air circulates properly.

  • Juicier burgers: Let patties rest for 2–3 minutes before assembling.

  • Extra flavor: Season lightly after flipping if patties are unseasoned.
