These Air Fryer Fried Pickles are crunchy, tangy, and totally irresistible. You get all the crispiness of classic deep-fried pickles—without the heavy oil or mess. They’re quick to make, perfect for parties, game day, or snacking, and pair beautifully with a creamy dipping sauce.
1 cup sliced pickles
2 large eggs
3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon hot sauce (such as Tabasco)
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
¼ cup sour cream
¼ cup mayonnaise
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup finely minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried dill (optional)
Dry the pickles
Lay pickle slices on paper towels and place another layer on top. Let them sit for a few minutes to remove excess moisture.
Prepare coating
In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, flour, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper.
Place panko breadcrumbs in another shallow dish.
Bread the pickles
Dip each pickle into the egg mixture, then coat in breadcrumbs. Place on a baking sheet.
Air fry
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange pickles in a single layer with space between them. Spray lightly with oil.
Air fry for 5–7 minutes, flip, spray again, and air fry another 5–7 minutes until golden and crispy.
Make the dip
Stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, onion, garlic, and dill in a small bowl.
Serve
Serve warm with the dipping sauce and enjoy!
