Air Fryer Cinnamon Banana Chips are a quick, healthy, and naturally sweet snack you can make in just 15 minutes. These crispy banana slices are lightly coated with coconut oil and tossed in warm cinnamon sugar, creating a crunchy treat that’s perfect for lunchboxes, after-school snacks, or a guilt-free dessert. With only four simple ingredients and no deep frying, this recipe is both easy and family-friendly.
2 firm bananas
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil (or vegetable oil)
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds (about ⅛ inch thick).
Place the banana slices in a mixing bowl and toss gently with the melted coconut oil until lightly coated.
In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the banana slices.
Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crisping.
Remove the chips and let them cool on a plate or wire rack. They will continue to crisp as they cool.
Use firm, just-ripe bananas to avoid soggy chips.
Slice bananas evenly for consistent cooking.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.
For less sugar, reduce the amount or use coconut sugar instead.
Store cooled chips in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature.
