Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 flour tortillas (any size that fits your air fryer)

  • Softened butter

  • Shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Garlic powder, to taste

  • Italian seasoning, to taste

Instructions

  1. Butter the Tortillas
Use a butter knife to spread softened butter evenly over both tortillas, all the way to the edges. (About 1 tablespoon per tortilla works well.)

  2. Add Cheese & Seasoning
Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella over each tortilla. Lightly dust with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

  3. Stack & Air Fry
Place one tortilla on top of the other and transfer to a preheated air fryer at 375°F (190°C). Cook for about 5 minutes, keeping a close eye on it.

  4. Cool & Slice
Remove once the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden with crispy edges. Let cool for 1–2 minutes, then slice with a pizza cutter.

  5. Serve
Enjoy warm as-is or with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Cheese options: Mozzarella, Parmesan, cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend all work great.

  • Extra toppings: Jalapeños, pepperoni, bacon bits, olives, red pepper flakes, pesto, or leftover meats.

  • Leafy greens tip: If using basil or spinach, tuck it under the cheese so it doesn’t fly around in the air fryer.

  • Healthier swap: Try low-carb or high-fiber tortillas for a lighter version.

  • Dipping sauces: Marinara, ranch, garlic aioli, or even hot sauce are delicious pairings.
