This Air Fryer Bacon is perfectly crispy, fast, and mess-free. There’s no need to flip the bacon, and the air fryer helps render the fat evenly for great texture every time. It’s ideal for breakfast with eggs, as a baked potato topping, or to use in salads and sandwiches.
8 slices bacon
Arrange the Bacon
Lay the bacon slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. The slices can touch but should not overlap.
Tip: If your air fryer basket is small, cut the bacon in half and cook in batches as needed.
Air Fry
Cook at 350°F (177°C) for 8–15 minutes, depending on your preferred crispiness.
Thin bacon cooks faster
Thick-cut bacon takes a bit longer
Drain
Transfer the cooked bacon to a paper towel–lined plate to absorb excess grease.
If cooking multiple batches, carefully discard the grease from the bottom of the air fryer before starting the next batch.
Start checking at 8 minutes to prevent overcooking.
No flipping required—the air fryer circulates heat evenly.
For extra-crispy bacon, cook closer to the 15-minute mark.
Save the rendered bacon grease for cooking eggs or vegetables.
