These 15-Minute Air Fryer Bagels are incredibly easy, chewy, and delicious—made with just 5 simple ingredients. Thanks to Greek yogurt, there’s no yeast, no rising time, and no boiling required. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a quick snack, these homemade bagels are endlessly customizable with your favorite toppings.
2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 cups plain nonfat Greek yogurt
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
Stir in the Greek yogurt using a wooden spoon or rubber spatula until a dough forms.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 2–3 minutes, until smooth.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.
Roll each piece into an 8–10 inch rope, then pinch the ends together to form a bagel shape.
Brush each bagel with beaten egg and sprinkle with your desired toppings.
Set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Air fry for 10–12 minutes, or until the bagels are golden brown.
Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Use thick Greek yogurt for best texture; thin yogurt can make the dough sticky.
If dough feels too wet, add 1–2 tablespoons of flour while kneading.
Avoid overcrowding the air fryer—cook in batches if needed.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
